Old, damaged conservatory transformed into usable garden room
Our client on this project had an 18 year old conservatory that had been leaking into their home and had previously been repaired but it was no longer a nice space. We were asked to take this old, run down conservatory and transform it into a stylish space they can use all year round.
For this project, we took the old conservatory and replaced the roof with a more energy efficient solution. We designed this space to create more height, lifting the roof up and installing a bespoke energy efficient roof and roof lantern. The bare brick walls were lift plastered creating a seamless, light and usable space. This design has revitalised the space into a usable and stylish garden room that maintains the height of the original conservatory, able to be used all year round.
