The clients contacted Quay Construction and Glazing with a view to modernizing their existing polycarbonate conservatory and to make more use of and enhance the existing space. We worked with the clients’ providing options for the roof design in both glass and tiled with lower doors in windows in both aluminum and UPVC.
It was the decision of the clients to move forward with a Supalite tiled roof using 2 sky vistas to transform their living space with natural light, whilst also enjoying the benefits of a lightweight, energy-efficient tiled conservatory roof. The lower windows and doors we revised the design to include French doors opening out onto a new composite veranda, with larger windows, removing the original rear elevation window transom obscuring the view, providing better uninterrupted views over the clients Lovely landscaped gardens.
“Mark and the team did a super and very professional job. Thank you for all the hard work and working with us to get the best design. We are very pleased with the final results”
It was an absolute pleasure to work with the clients to achieve their vision for the space. To turn their existing polycarbonate conservatory which was not being fully used as too hot in the summer, cold in the winter with some condensation into the final version it was a pleasure.
The removal of the dwarf wall and inclusion of double French doors opening out on the new veranda looks amazing. The sky vistas provide such a great technical and visual aesthetic when using the room, it really provides that wow factor. We are confident the clients will enjoy the space now enhanced for years to come in both summer, with the doors open to let the summer in and through winter with great thermal efficiency and A rated products and U Values. Quay Construction and Glazing would like to thank the clients for the opportunity to deliver the project and our suppliers for the great products and technical support to enable us to do so.
